VELO pouches are pouches filled with nicotine, flavourings and a few other ingredients, small enough to tuck between your lip and gum. They’re a tobacco-free* way to consume nicotine without smell, smoke or ash.

Can you recycle VELO nicotine pouch cans?

VELO cans are now fully recyclable, and most recycling facilities accept the type of plastic we use to make them. If they don’t, there’s probably an alternative collection or recycling point nearby, like at your nearest large supermarket.

Do you need to remove the label before recycling?

You don’t need to remove the labels from VELO cans before recycling them.

Where should you recycle VELO packaging?

Most recycling points take the type of plastic we use to make VELO cans, including roadside recycling points, supermarkets and tips. Visit your local council’s website to find out where your local recycling spots are.

Can you recycle VELO nicotine pouches?

We’re working on it, but you can’t recycle VELO pouches yet. We’re exploring new product developments to make our nicotine pouches recyclable in the future.

Where should you dispose of VELO nicotine pouches?

You can keep your used VELO pouches in the handy waste compartment in the lid of the can. When it’s full, empty it and recycle the can.

Where shouldn’t you dispose of VELO nicotine pouches?

Used nicotine pouches have some residue inside, so they can’t be recycled. Empty your VELO can before recycling it.

Can you reuse VELO nicotine pouches?

VELO pouches release nicotine and flavour for up to 30 minutes. After use, remove the used pouch from your mouth and keep it in the waste compartment until you can dispose of it. They aren’t designed to be reused.
