What do I need to buy a subscription?

  • An account on velo.com/ch
  • A shipping address in Switzerland
  • Only the Credit Card will be accepted for the subscription on VELO ABO.
  • 18 years of age or older.

How does it work?

  1. In the navigation, click on the section "VELO ABO"
  2. Select one of the following models:
    1. Bronze: Monthly delivery of 9 cans for the price of 8
    2. Silver: Monthly delivery of 15 cans for the price of 12
    3. Gold: Monthly delivery of 24 cans for the price of 18
  3. Once you’ve selected your model, you can select your products
    1. You can of course choose a combination of products
    2. You can also choose a combination of different formats or intensities (MINIs, Slims and/or Regular)
  4. You can now choose the date on which you want your subscription to start (at the earliest of 1 (one) to 2 (two) working days from the date of subscription)
  5. When you are checking out you must select the payment method and place the order to validate the subscription.
  6. You’re now done! Your subscription configuration is now saved in our system and you will receive a confirmation email with all details. Every month, your payment method will be automatically charged on your payment method (e.g. credit card) based on your chosen model, and your order will be delivered to your home. Which products can I choose?

In your subscription model, you can add all the VELO products we propose, except Limited Edition. All proposed products can be found on the VELO ABO section on velo.com/ch/en/subscription .

Can I modify the number of cans per model?

You can’t modify the number of cans per model, as the number of cans for each model is fixed:

  1. Bronze: 9 cans per month
  2. Silver: 15 cans per month
  3. Gold: 24 cans per month

What is the mechanism for extra incentives?

  • Subscribed for 2 months = Promocode for an additional free can on top of your monthly order
  • Subscribed for 4 months = VELO+ points boost (1’000 pts)*
  • Subscribed for 6 months = Promocode for an additional free can on top on top of your monthly order
  • Subscribed for 8 months = Free Metal tin
  • Subscribed for 10 months = VELO+ points boost (2’000 pts)*
  • Subscribed for 12 months = VELO+ points boost (3’000 pts)*

What is the cost per can?

The pricing of the cans, based on each model, can be rounded. You can find below the cost per can, differentiated according to each model:

  • Bronze Model: (9 cans for the price of 8):
    • MINI: CHF 6.14 per can
    • Slim & Regular: CHF 7.56 CHF per can
  • Silver Model: (15 cans for the price of 12):
    • MINI: CHF 5.52 per can
    • Slim & Regular: CHF 6.80 per can
  • Gold Model: (24 cans for the price of 18):
    • MINI: CHF 5.18 CHF per can
    • Slim & Regular: CHF 6.38 per can

Can I change the products in my model?

Of course! You can change the products in your model at any time - up to the date a monthly order is automatically placed again. Your change will be applied to the following monthly order.

To modify the products in your ABO, simply:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to “My account”
  3. Select “VELO ABO”
  4. Choose the desired action by clicking on the corresponding button
  5. Update the products selection
  6. Check out to validate your modification

Please note that if your modification implies a pricing adjustment (for example if you add only MINIs when you had SLIMs on your first subscription), you’ll have to proceed to the confirmation of the payment method again at checkout.

Can I change the model I subscribed to?

Of course! You can change your model at any time - up to the date a monthly order is automatically placed again. Your change will be applied to your following monthly order.

To change your model, simply:

  4. Choose the desired action by clicking on the corresponding button
  5. Select the model you want
  6. Update the products selection
  7. Check out to validate your modification

Can I pause my subscription?

It is indeed possible to pause a subscription for one month. During this month, no VELO products from the subscription program will be delivered. For instance, if you pause your subscription on the 15th of January, it will be paused for a month and will automatically start again on the 15th of February.

To pause your subscription, simply:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to “My account”
  3. Select “VELO ABO”
  4. Choose the desired action by clicking on the corresponding button.

Can I stop my subscription?

Of course! You can cancel the subscription at any time - up to the time a monthly order is placed again. In case that your cancellation takes place after the automatic placement of a monthly order, the cancellation is not valid for this specific order and will only apply to the next order. Please note that if you unsubscribe, you’ll lose your right to the VELO Badges. For the VELO Badges, see point §10.

Can I use my VELO+ points to pay for my subscription?

No, your VELO+ points can’t be used to pay the subscription. But of course, you can still use those VELO+ points for online discounts on other orders, amazing activities and/or some VELO merchandising.

Can I change the delivery date?

What delivery options are available?

All the VELO ABO orders are delivered by the Swiss Post via Standard delivery, delivered within 1 to 2 working days. See our General Terms and Conditions for more information. Express delivery is not valid under a subscription program.

Can I still take advantage of other promotions?

Of course! You can still place any orders, taking advantages of any other running promotions (with or without promocodes).

What type of communications will I receive?

  • After every new subscription, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will summarize the key information’s about your subscription (your model, your selected products, your stored payment method, your monthly cost, your billing & shipping address.)
  • After any modification in your subscription model, you will receive a confirmation email with the new information.
  • Prior to each automated payment, you’ll receive an email to inform you that your monthly costs will be captured shortly on your stored payment method.
  • If your automated payment ever gets declined, you’ll receive an email informing you that your monthly order has not been executed and that your ABO has been automatically paused. You’ll need to update your payment method before the next payment capture to avoid being automatically unsubscribed.
  • Every month, you’ll receive an email once your parcel has been sent out, that will contain the tracking number of your parcel.
  • As mentioned on §5, you’ll receive VELO Badges for every two months you remain subscribed. You’ll therefore also receive an email confirmation for each of those VELO Badges by email.
  • If you ever pause your subscription, you’ll receive a confirmation email that your ABO has been paused, including the date on which it will automatically restart.
  • If you ever unsubscribe, you’ll receive a confirmation email about your unsubscription.
