VELO x McLAREN FORMULA 1 TEAM – 2025 EVENT AT F1 ARCADE PRIZE DRAW - @Velo.UnitedKingdom Instagram - Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the VELO x McLAREN FORMULA 1 TEAM – 2025 EVENT AT F1® ARCADE PRIZE DRAW (the “Promotion”) (the “Terms”).

1. The Promoter of this Promotion is British American Tobacco (UK) Limited, Building 7, Chiswick Business Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, England, W4 5YG (“BAT”). By entering this Promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.
    
2. The Promotion is only open to entries from UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) who are (i) aged 18 and over; and (ii) adult nicotine consumers.
    
3. The following are not eligible to participate:
   1. employees of BAT or of any British American Tobacco plc group company; or
   2. employees or any other persons involved or assisting with this Promotion or otherwise professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration (including but not limited to, any person responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the Promotion).
       
4. There will be two separate Promotion Periods and Prize Draws, one for each respective event occurring on the 1^st June 2025 at the F1 ® Arcade London, and on the 15^th June 2025 at the F1 ® Arcade London. The Promotion Period for the event on the 1^st June opens on the 19^th May 2025 and closes on 25^th May 2025 (the “Promotion Period”); whilst for the event on 15^th June 2025 opens on the 19^th May 2025 and closes on the 8^th June 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). There will be two separate Prize Draws, one for each respective event; the Prize Draw for the even on 1^st June 2025 will take place on the 26^th May 2025 (the “Prize Draw”), where 10 winners for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1 ® Arcade London on 1^st June will be selected in accordance with the process in paragraph 13; whilst for the event in  on 15th June 2025 at the F1 ® Arcade, the Prize Draw will take place on the 9^th June 2025 (the “Prize Draw”), where 7 winners for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event on the 15^th June 2025 will be selected for in accordance with the process in paragraph 13.
    
5. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must:
   1. Follow the @Velo.UnitedKingdom Instagram account.
   2. Leave a comment under the @Velo.UnitedKingdom Instagram Promotion post, clearly writing either ‘1^st June’ to be entered into the Prize Draw for the F1® Arcade London on 1^st June, or ‘15^th June’ to be entered into the Prize Draw for the F1® Arcade in London on 15^th June in their comment.
   3. Comments mentioning both dates in the same comment will be disqualified.
       
6. The Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per person. No purchase is necessary.  
    
7. BAT reserves the right to validate any claim and may ask for proof of identity and/or age of any entrant or guest at any point. BAT accepts no liability for any delays to, or prevention of, an entrant from participating in the Promotion by exercising its right to validate the identity and/or address and/or age of an entrant.
    
8. All entries must be made directly by the person entering a relevant Prize Draw. Entries made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified. BAT is not responsible for changes in entrants' email/Instagram account after entering a Prize Draw.
    
9. There will be 17 prizes for this Prize Draw collectively, with each prize consisting of admission of the winner and one guest who must be aged 18+ and an existing nicotine user, to the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1® Arcade. 7 prizes for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1® Arcade London on the 1^st June 2025, and 10 prizes for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1® Arcade London on 15^th June 2025.
    
10. The Prize does not include any costs for travel, accommodation, food and drink (other than what may be provided at the experience), spending money, tax or personal expenses and any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and any costs that are incidental to the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
     
11. There is no cash alternative, and the Prize is not transferable or exchangeable once winners have been selected. BAT reserves the right to replace any, or all, of the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond BAT control makes it necessary to do so.
     
12. Entries must be received by BAT by no later than the 25^th May 2025 for the Event on 1^st June 2025 Prize Draw, and no later than the 8^th June 2025 for the Event on 15^th June 2025 Prize Draw. Entries made outside of the Promotion Period or are otherwise not in accordance with these Terms will not be accepted.
     
13. The winners will be selected at random from all qualifying entries. Being entries where the participant has commented ‘1^st June’, received by the 25^th May for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1® Arcade London on 1^st June 2025; or entries where participant has commented ‘15^th June’, received by the 8^th June 2025 within the designated timeframe for the VELO x McLaren Formula 1 Team 2025 Event at the F1® Arcade, London on 15^th June 2025. The draw will be made from all qualifying entries at random via a computer programme producing a verifiably random draw.  
     
14. The winners will be notified via a direct message to their Instagram account from the @Velo.UnitedKingdom Instagram account. Entrants who have entered the Prize Draw and have not won a Prize will not be notified.
     
15. In order to redeem the Prize, the winners will need to respond to the direct message sent by BAT via the @Velo.UnitedKingdom Instagram account, with a direct message confirming acceptance of the Prize, eligibility as per Paragraph 2 of the Terms and their email address. The winners will be allowed 48 hours from the time the direct message is sent, to respond and provide the requested information.
     
16. If the winner does not provide the required information to BAT within 48 hours of notification, the winner shall forfeit their Prize and BAT shall be entitled to award the Prize to an alternative winner in accordance with the process described in Paragraph ‎13 of the Terms.
     
17. Once redeemed in accordance with Paragraph 15 of the Terms, The Prize will be sent via email to the email address provided following the winner confirming their acceptance of the Prize.
     
18. BAT reserves the right to review, edit, alter or remove any entry in its sole discretion, which does not comply with these Terms or which it reasonably believes does not comply with these Terms.
     
19. BAT reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct, or if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the entrant may bring the BAT or any other British American Tobacco plc group company brand into disrepute.
     
20. BAT reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend each Prize Draw or the Promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so. BAT shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
     
21. No responsibility will be accepted by BAT for incomplete, invalid or illegible entries and these will be declared void in the sole discretion of BAT. The Prize Draw is not endorsed, sponsored, or associated with any of the brands or companies related to the Prizes.
     
22. BAT will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection, or other charges incurred in entering the Prize Draw or in a winner using or enjoying a Prize. If using a computer or any other device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant, the entrant is reminded to get the owner's permission before entering.
     
23. BAT does not guarantee continuous uninterrupted access to Instagram or other information society services at any time. It is possible that numerous factors outside the control of BAT may interfere with the operation of information society services. No responsibility will be accepted for any technical or other difficulties in entering or any entries delayed or corrupted.
     
24. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
     
25. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed as set out in BAT’s privacy policy: https://uk.velo.com/privacy-policy, Please also see paragraph ‎27 in relation to BAT’s obligations with regards to the announcement of winners.
     
26. Any enquiries about personal information held by BAT, including any request for deletion of personal data, may be made by contacting info.gb@velo.com to obtain the contact name and address to which to send an envelope marked "Data Protection Request".
     
27. BAT must either make available information that indicates that a valid award under this Promotion took place and so BAT will send the surname and county of all of the winners of this Promotion to anyone who contacts BAT using the details in paragraph ‎28 requesting such information within one month of the date of the Prize Draw.
     
28. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being made available, please contact BAT via info.gb@velo.com. In such circumstances though BAT must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
     
29. These Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
