VELO x Tomorrowland Experience - Instagram - Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the VELO x Tomorrowland Experience - (the “Promotion”) (the “Terms”).
1. The Promoter of this Promotion is British American Tobacco (UK) Limited, Building 7, Chiswick Business Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, England, W4 5YG (“BAT”). By entering this Promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Promotion is only open to entries from (i) residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland); (ii) who are aged 18 and over; and (iii) current nicotine users.
3. The following are not eligible to participate:
(a) employees of BAT or of any British American Tobacco plc group company; or
(b) employees or any other persons involved or assisting with this Prize Draw or otherwise professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration (including but not limited to, any person responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the Promotion).
4. The Promotion opens at 11:00 on 7th July 2025 and closes at 17:00 on 11th July 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). There will be one (1) prize draw which will take place on 15th July 2025 and two (2) winners will be selected in accordance with the process described in paragraph 12 (the “Prize Draw”).
5. To enter the Promotion, entrants must:
(a) Follow the Velo.unitedkingdom account on Instagram
(b) Like the competition post
(c) Tag a friend in the comments
6. The Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per person. For avoidance of doubt, multiple entries are not permitted.
7. BAT reserves the right to validate any claim and may ask for proof of identity and/or age of any entrant at any point. BAT accepts no liability for any delays to or prevention of an entrant from participating in the Promotion by exercising its right to validate the identity and/or address and/or age of an entrant.
8. All entries must be made directly by the person entering a relevant Promotion. Entries made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified. BAT is not responsible for changes in entrants' details. This includes: Instagram handle, email address, phone number after entering the Prize Draw.
9. For the VELO x Tomorrowland Festival Prize Draw there will be one (1) prize which includes 2 tickets, 1 for the winner and 1 for a guest who must be aged 18+ and is an existing nicotine user (the “Prize”).
9.1 The Prize includes:
(a) A 4 night stay (double room) at Radisson Blu, Antwerp, Belgium.
(b) Two regular tickets granting 3-day access to Tomorrowland 2025 from 25th July 2025 to 27th July 2025; and
(c) Transfer for the winner and guest to and from either Brussels Zaventem Airport or Brussels South Railway Station. For the avoidance of doubt, transport will not be provided if the entrant travels to/from another location not listed in these Terms. Return transport will only be arranged for the winner and guest between 24th July 2025 and 28th July 2025.
(d) Return economy class train to either Brussels Zaventem Airport or Brussels South Railway Station. from a major UK train station. The Promoter will determine the departure station based on availability and convenience.
9.2 The Prize excludes:
(a) Spending money;
(b) Meals and drinks;
(c) Additional hotel expenses (e.g. Mini bar, room service, or additional nights);
(d) Expense for food and drink;
(e) Tax or personal expenses;
(f) Travel insurance and travel expenses;
(g) Visa and travel documents;
(h) Other activities and any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and any costs that are incidental to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
10. There is no cash alternative, and the Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. BAT reserves the right to replace any part or all of the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond BAT’s control makes it necessary to do so.
11. The winner acknowledges that their content may be publicly disseminated across a range of media (including social media) for promotional purposes and agrees that perpetual use may be made, free of charge, of his/her voice, image and likeness captured whilst present at or about VELO (by means of live or recorded video display, broadcast, transmission or other dissemination or recording, photographs or any other current and/or future media technologies) and waives, on an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual basis, all rights to object to such recording and the broadcasting, transmission or other dissemination thereof in any current and/or future media technologies.
12. Entries for the Promotion must be received by no later than 17:00 on 11th July 2025. Entries made outside of the Prize Draw Period will not be accepted. The winners of the Promotion will be the first 2 entries selected at random from all valid entrants received by 17:00 on 11th July 2025. The draw will be made from all valid entries at random via a computer programme producing a verifiably random draw.
13. The winners will be notified by 16th July 2025, firstly via email to the email address associated with the winner's Velo account. If the winner does not reply to such email, BAT may attempt to contact the winners via their phone number or Instagram handle (if provided at the time of entry). Entrants who have entered the Prize Draw and have not won a Prize will not be notified.
14. In order to redeem the Prize the winner will need to respond to the direct message sent by BAT and contact details so they can be contacted to confirm the prize details, confirmation that they are over 18, and that they are a nicotine user. The winner will be allowed 72 hours from the time the message is sent to respond and provide the requested information.
15. If the winner does not provide all the required information to BAT within 72 hours of notification, then the winner shall forfeit their Prize and BAT shall be entitled to award the Prize to an alternative winner in accordance with the process described in paragraphs 13 and 14 above.
16. BAT reserves the right to review, edit, alter or remove any entry in its sole discretion, which does not comply with these Terms or which it reasonably believes does not comply with these Terms.
17. BAT reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct, or if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the entrant may bring the BAT or any other British American Tobacco plc group company brand into disrepute.
18. BAT reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend each Prize Draw or the Promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so. BAT shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
19. No responsibility will be accepted by BAT for incomplete, invalid or illegible entries and these will be declared void in the sole discretion of BAT.
20. The Promotion is not endorsed, sponsored, or associated with any of the brands or companies related to the Prizes.
21. BAT will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred in entering the Prize Draw or in a winner using or enjoying a Prize. If using a computer or any other device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant, the entrant is reminded to get the owner's permission before entering.
22. BAT does not guarantee continuous uninterrupted access to the VELO ecommerce page. It is possible that numerous factors outside the control of BAT may interfere with the operation of the platform. No responsibility will be accepted for any technical or other difficulties in entering or any entries delayed or corrupted.
23. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
24. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed for the purposes of implementing this Promotion as set out in https://www.velo.com/gb/en/privacy-policy. Please also see paragraph 26 in relation to BAT’s obligations with regards to the announcement of winners.
25. Any enquiries about personal information held by BAT, including any request for deletion of personal data, may be made by contacting Velocompetitions@bat.com to obtain the contact name and address to which to send an envelope marked "Data Protection Request".
26. BAT must either make available information that indicates that a valid award under this Promotion took place and so BAT will send the surname and county of all of the winners of this Promotion to anyone who contacts BAT using the details in paragraph 25 requesting such information within one month of the date of the Prize Draw.
27. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being made available, please contact BAT via Velocompetitions@bat.com. In such circumstances though BAT must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
28. These Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
